The Wadge.com

Well hello folks, here it is, the official beginnings of a website dedicated to you ski-doo fixin’, bootleggin’, hotel-fightin', rec-centre sittin’ gang of rough and tumble bushfolk from that wonderful little hamlet we all call Manitouwadge.

Here, we’ll be posting anything from the culture of this wacky place, to gossip about who has what kind of new truck, to the people that called this place home, or still do (shame on you). We’ve also got a message board so you can all sign up and keep in touch with your friends, get gossip about other friends, and just be friendly in general, or not! To quote the immortal words of the Human Torch: “flame on”!

So sit back, relax, put your nine babies to bed and explore the site, you won’t be disappointed, promise.

02/11/06 : NEW SERVER / NEW SITE

Happy new year! I just sobered up now.

Just thought (all four of you) would like to know that TheWadge.com has a new home on the internet. To all of my computer illiterate friends, this means I can add a bunch of amazing things to the site, which also means it's the perfect time for an all-new design. Watch for it in the coming weeks/months/somedays.

Yes you've heard it here first. The application form for the people section is broken, so please do not take an hour out of your life to fill it out, because it will only result in sadness, and some form of "forbidden" web-error.

I'm going to move thewadge.com to a new server to prevent such future bullskeez.

Are you a former "Wadger"? Are you now so famous and rich that you couldn't care less about our little town? Well, why not brag about it. The Echo, the local paper in Manitouwadge wants to hear from you!

The Echo is looking for former residents who have left and gone on to great things, if not anything... just to show how the wadge is spread out around the world.
